Dear Guests,

Please be aware that due to the 2023 UCI World Championship,   part of Great Western Road will be closed for a prolonged period of time, limiting access to the hotel at at different times. Below we have detailed the alternative routes to the hotel, as well as other important transport information.

Road Works for preparation of the event:

• Road Closure Dates: 15^th July – 25^th July
• Road Closure Times: 8:30am – 9pm
• Great Western Rd will be closed from Hamilton park Avenue to Kirklee Rd.
• The only access to the hotel will be from Byers Road.

If you are traveling from the West along GWR please turn onto Hyburgh Rd and this will bring you to Byres Rd

If you are travelling from the East along GWR turn off at Park Rd and then University Avenue and this will bring you to Byers Rd.

If you are travelling from Charing Cross, please take Woodlands Rd along to University Avenue and then onto Byers Rd.

No public buses will run along Byers Rd for the duration of the road closure.

  • 1pm relay race – full Great Western Road & BYRES Road closure
• 12^th August
  • 11.30am race
    • First Circuit – Great Western Road & Byres Road closed
    • Continued Partial Byres Road closure
• 13^th August
  • 11.30am race 
    • First Circuit – Great Western Road & Byres Road closed
    • Continued Partial Byres Road closure
